Salvation

We believe that salvation is the gift of God’s grace. It cannot be obtained by any good works that we can do, but it is freely given by God to all who put their faith in Jesus Christ and his redeeming work on the cross of Calvary. All who trust Jesus as their Savior are forgiven of their sins, are born again into the family of God.

John 1:12
To all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.

Acts 16:31
Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved.

Romans 10:9-10
If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

Ephesians 1:7
In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace.

Ephesians 2:8-9
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast.

Acts 2:38
Repent and be baptized every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
